Our story
We didn't plan to start a paella business. We just really loved cooking it — and one of us has been doing it for years.
This whole thing began on our Sydney terrace, sharing paella with friends almost every weekend. Slowly, it turned into a bit of a ritual — people brought wine, stories, even their own plates when we ran out. And they always came hungry.
But behind the scenes, there's a lot more than good vibes and big pans. Jorge brings years of experience in the hospitality world. He's worked in restaurants, bars, events and kitchens across countries — always with one foot in service and the other at the stove. He knows food, he knows people, and he knows how to make everyone feel welcome. Paella has always been his signature dish — from small gatherings to big celebrations.
We take pride in doing things right: homemade sofrito, real saffron, slow-cooked fumet — no stock cubes, no shortcuts. We cook everything on-site, serve it hot, and stay for the good times.
What started as a passion project is now a growing adventure, and we're so excited to bring it to you — your backyard, your event, your team lunch, your wedding, or wherever you want a big, happy spoonful of joy.
So here we are. Two people, one giant pan, and a whole lot of flavour. Come hungry.
